Silicon Hills Summit 2008 Showcases Texas Technology

Annual Event Presents Leading Texas-based Private Companies to the Financial Community

AUSTIN (September 9, 2008) — The ninth annual Silicon Hills Summit, the Southwest region’s premier technology financial conference, will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at the Omni Hotel in downtown Austin.

The full-day event features presentations from some of the state’s most exciting privately held companies in Texas and includes a special luncheon keynote address from Necip Sayiner, president and chief executive officer of Silicon Laboratories, Inc., a leading designer of high-performance, analog-intensive, mixed-signal integrated circuits.

To broaden the industry focus of the event this year, the hosts of Silicon Hills Summit are including presentations from leading clean tech and hardware companies from across the state. This year’s conference features presentations from 12 Texas-based companies – Alereon, Black Sand Technologies, ClearCube, LifeSize Communications, Luminary Micro, Mavenir Systems, Mimix Broadband, NetStreams, Pyxis Technology, VI Technology, Xtreme Power and Zilker Labs.
